Stream Filters

The AccuRev StreamBrowser provides a comprehensive collaboration platform that allows geographically distributed team members to visualize the current state of their projects. The stream hierarchy clearly indicates what code lines teams or individuals are working on, where current changes exist, and the dynamic relationship between projects. As teams and projects grow more numerous, it is important for managers and team leads to focus their attention on those portions of the stream hierarchy that are most relevant to their projects.

AccuRev Stream Filters enable users to tailor the view of the stream hierarchy to their specific needs. Users can select individual streams, streams that terminate with workspaces, streams of a particular type, or stream subhierarchies This allows managers for example, to work with just that subset of the stream hierarchy that their organization is responsible for. Team leads can focus on their team stream to view code promotions, perform code reviews and keep track of issues and defects. At any time, a user can disable or modify their Stream Filter to broaden or change their view of the hierarchy.

Introduced in AccuRev 4.7, Stream Filters provide improved scalability and usability for users, groups and entire organizations, enabling them to increase productivity by reducing the time it takes to identify streams or sub-hierarchies of interest.
