Software Development Magazine Recognizes AccuRev for Second Consecutive Year
Lexington, MA, March 28, 2005 - For the second year in a row, AccuRev Inc. received a Jolt award from Software Development magazine in recognition of the company's breakthrough software configuration management system. AccuRev 3.5 received a Jolt Productivity Award in the Change and Configuration Management category at SD West Conference & Exposition. The company launched AccuRev 3.7, a new and enhanced version of its breakthrough software configuration management (SCM) system, at SD West earlier this month.
In addition to the launch of AccuRev 3.7, the company also announced a partnership with Aspen Software Consultants, which supports AccuRev's leadership in meeting the needs of large enterprises with distributed development environments. The key new feature of 3.7, the replication server, improves the performance and increases the overall productivity for remote and offshore developers, telecommuters, and local developers.
AccuRev is the only software configuration management system that is based on a stream architecture, which enables development teams to graphically view and control all work in progress throughout the development process.
