AccuRev Delivers Web Interface 2010.1

Lexington, MA, March 17, 2010 - AccuRev today announced its Web Interface 2010.1 which provides enhanced performance and new functionality designed to improve the overall developer experience. The new Web Interface 2010.1 is fully integrated with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 through AccuBridge for Visual Studio.

AccuRev Web Interface 2010.1 allows users to access data managed by the AccuRev Server through all popular Web browsers. This interface also provides a graphical representation of file history, including the ability to navigate through file changes, as well as an integrated view of the overall project through the AccuRev StreamBrowser.

With the integrated AccuRev Web Interface, developers can easily view AccuRev issue tracking data and metrics directly from within their familiar Microsoft Visual Studio interface. Additionally, it provides full support for AccuRev SCM and process management within the tabbed document window of Microsoft Visual Studio interface.

These new features enable improved collaboration, detailed project status reports, and enhanced performance and usability for teams implementing complex software development processes.

"The new AccuRev Web Interface looks great, and I particularly like the new "bulk update" feature.  The entire team is excited about this new functionality" said Matthew Sexton, Senior Tools Engineer at ExaGrid Systems.

Other highlights of the new Web Interface 2010.1 include:

  • Integrated support for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, 2008 and 2010
  • Extended support for all popular Web Browsers including new support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or later, Google Chrome 3.0 or later, and Mozilla Firefox 3.5 or later
  • Detailed change package history and the ability to fully utilize integrated Change Packages with a new Change Package History command on the Issue Edit Form
  • Enhanced Look Up Stream command which improves the user experience when searching for a particular stream or performing common stream operations.
  • Improved Diff and Annotate commands that allow for easy one-click navigation to any point in a file with the new Navigation Map
