SCM Analytics with AccuRev and SourceIQ
SourceIQ provides an integrated, consistent view of software projects across the enterprise, giving managers the metrics and analytics required for governance and global teams. SourceIQ automatically analyzes the artifacts in change management systems, producing a repository of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in four critical areas: code quality, code volume and volatility, team contribution, and governance.
The integration between SourceIQ and AccuRev provides AccuRev users, especially engineering and project managers, with several important capabilities:
- Sophisticated import capabilities enable individual AccuRev depots to be queried and analyzed. Once an initial import is completed, the SourceIQ-AccuRev conduit can periodically query AccuRev to retrieve any new transactions, assuring that the SourceIQ database is up-to-date.
- AccuRev streams and snapshots can be analyzed for code activity, code complexity, user activity and issue activity.
- Customizable reports for a variety of source code metrics.
