| AccuRev joins Eclipse and pledges support to ALF |
| |
On December 21st we joined the Eclipse Foundation
as an Add-In-Provider to further its support and
influence on open source standards within the
software configuration management (SCM)
industry.
Then in January we announced our endorsement and
support of the Eclipse Application Lifecycle
Framework (ALF) Project.
"The ALF framework allows vendors and customers to
maximize productivity from their chosen ALM
technologies. We aim to eliminate the shortcomings
of point-to-point integrations and provide the
interoperability needed to successfully manage
customer application lifecycles. We are pleased to
welcome all leading ALM vendors to this important
Eclipse project. Having AccuRev join the project is
further validation of the universal value of the
framework to our industry," says Kevin Parker, ALF
Project Evangelist.

"As part of its introduction of AccuRev 4.0, AccuRev
also is launching AccuBridge SDK, which features a
Java API to link AccuRev to third-party issue-
tracking tools and other types of tools. Serena
TeamTrack integration is supported out of the box
and a link to Rational ClearQuest is planned. Users
also can develop their own custom integrations to
