We are planning to kick off an AccuRev V4.0 Beta program beginning the week of November 28th, 2005. We are looking for a select group of customers to be a part of an early evaluation of this major release.

How do I view the history of the stream hierarchy?

Since every critical component of SCM is being tracked and versioned by AccuRev, every operation which creates or changes a stream's definition is stored and controlled in AccuRev's TimeSafe database. The "Stream Browser History" feature allows you to see the history associated with the creation and change (basis stream, time-basis, name) of all streams (dynamic, pass-through, snapshot and workspace) in the stream hierarchy.

To enable the "Stream Browser History", do the following from within the GUI:

Close any open Stream Browser tabs File -> Preferences -> Select "Enable Stream Browser History" Re-Open the Stream Browser

You will now have a set of History controls at the top of the Stream Browser which will allow you to walk through the history similar to a slide show.
