1. Install AccuRev & Metadata
- The eval kit meta data will only be installed during fresh installs of AccuRev on Windows. Existing meta data will never be over written. If you don’t see “executing evaluation database import” during the installation process, you probably need to remove a previous install and try again.
- Run AccuRev_Evaluation_Kit.exe from your download environment (ex c:\temp).
- Accept the license agreement (requires scrolling through agreement).
- Select the default installation folder (c:\Program Files\AccuRev).
- Select the Server/Client product features.
- Select No replication.
- Select the default server data storage folder (c:\Program Files\AccuRev\storage).
- Select the default database port (5075) and database superuser name (postgres).
- Select a database superuser password of your choosing (need to enter twice).
- Select local named user licensing (e.g. keys.txt).
- Choose the license key file (keys.txt) emailed to you by AccuRev when you requested an evaluation.
- Select the default AccuRev server hostname (your hostname) and AccuRev server port (5050).
- Select “yes” when asked about adjusting the system PATH variable.
- Select “Use the Java VM installed with this application” as your Java Virtual Machine.
- Click “Next” to acknowledge message regarding Database Tuning.
- Verify the installer indicates “executing evaluation database import” while installing.
- Click “Done” to acknowledge install complete.
- The AccuRev client and server environment, as well as the evaluation data, is now installed on your machine.
