AccuBridge for Visual Studio 2005 PE 4.6.0 Beta Installation Packages
AccuRev is pleased to announce the 4.6.0 Beta release of its Visual Studio 2005 PE (Package Edition) integration.
AccuBridge for Visual Studio 2005 PE is a completely new integration between AccuRev and Visual Studio 2005. It implements the SCC provider interfaces that are part of the Visual Studio 2005 Package Technology (VSPT). This integration does not use the old Microsoft Common Source Code Control Interface (MCSCCI) unlike previous versions. As a result, using the new integration is much more AccuRev-like.
Please note that this version is certified for use with AccuRev V4.5.3 and newer. AccuRev versions prior to V4.5.3 are not certified.
Below are some of the important areas of enhanced functionality available in this release:

- AccuRev commands are present in the Solution Explorer context menu
- AccuRev Tool Window with Searches and History Views
- An AccuRev Toolbar for quickly executing commands on selected items in Solution Explorer
- Support for Solutions spanning multiple AccuRev workspaces

| To install: 1. Download the above zip file. 2. Unzip into your Accurev/bin directory. 3. Make sure that Visual Studio 2005 is not running 4. If you have installed a prior version of the VisualStudio Add-in, uninstall it using the Add/Remove Programs applet in Windows Control Panel. 5. Run the AccPkgVS05Installer.msi file. 6. The installer will guide you through the rest of the installation. 7. Please consult the release notes for details on specific issues that have been resolved in this release. |
