Login and Logout

The and buttons are always available from the Web GUI toolbar.

When you log in, the Web GUI begins a session.  The session determines how long you remain logged in. Sessions expire after a period of inactivity. The length of the login session defaults to 30 minutes, but it can be configured. Contact your system administrator to change this value.

When a session expires, there is no visible indication on the Web GUI, but the next time you attempt to access AccuRev data, the Web GUI will display a dialog, indicating that you will have to log in again.

You can recover your session (including items like open tabs and directories) if you log back in. If you log out using the Logout button, session information is not retained.

If you use the Web browser controls to reload the page or navigate elsewhere, your session data is not retained, and you must log in again to continue working in the Web GUI.
